Job Description:

This is a safety sensitive position and exists to provide for the skilled installation, diagnostic troubleshooting, alteration and repairs of water supply systems, sanitary and drainage systems, and components of heating and cooling devices.

 

Experience and Skills:

  • Plumber (journeyman level) by the State authority
  • backflow/cross?connection certification as required by Department of Health (DOH) as a Cross Connection Specialist (CCS).
  • Perform semiskilled and skilled duties in other maintenance trade areas; and do other work as assigned or required of the contract.
  • Plumber must have and maintain a valid NM driver’s license,
  • Be able to climb ladders, be capable of crouching, crawling, grasping and handling objects and pick up and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • In addition, the employee must be able to effectively work and cooperate with supervisors, co-workers and customers.
  • They must be able to follow directions of supervisors and refrain from causing or contributing to disruptions.
  • Must be able to fulfill essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner and all other duties assigned.
